Story of the Piece

Psyche and Eros Psyche, of radiant beauty, aroused the jealousy of Aphrodite. Sent to curse her, Eros wounded himself with his own arrow and fell in love with her instead. Delivered by the oracle to a monster, she was carried away by Zephyr to a palace where Eros visited her each night, concealing his face. Driven by curiosity, Psyche eventually discovered his identity, and Eros vanished. To find him again, she endured Aphrodite’s cruel trials until she fell into a deep sleep. Faithful Eros revived her, and Zeus granted her immortality — soul and love united for eternity. Pygmalion and Galatea Pygmalion, weary of women, sculpted a perfect statue, Galatea, with whom he fell deeply in love. Moved by his prayer, Aphrodite gave life to the creation — stone became flesh. The artist and his masterpiece loved one another, proving that art and faith can transform a dream into eternal reality.

History of the Collection

AMOUR (IM)POSSIBLE explores the duality of human connection, between union and distance, desire and separation. Inspired by foundational myths — Pygmalion and Galatea, Eros and Psyche — the collection embodies the tensions that shape our intimate stories. Chairs, armchairs, sofas, and mirrors become fragments of a universal narrative: that of love — fragile yet powerful, sometimes hindered, yet always creative. Each piece in this line stands as a symbol: that beauty is born as much from union as from fracture and that our relationships, even the impossible ones, nurture our humanity.
